Carl McDonald has worked in intelligence since 1984 and served as a US Navy intelligence analyst — the service on which the company’s service-disabled veteran-owned status rests. He founded Intelligence Analysis, Inc. in March 2006 and owns it today, and he has been a supply chain risk management subject matter expert since 2016. He is also the named release authority for everything customer-facing on this site, which in a firm this size means the person approving a page is the person who can answer questions about it.

Barry is a 22-year veteran of the US Air Force, specializing in counterintelligence and criminal investigation. Assignments in CENTCOM and AFRICOM gave him a close, in-depth look at the challenges in those regions. His commercial career has included program management in the counterintelligence, supply chain risk management, and SETA (systems engineering and technical assistance) domains — at Lockheed Martin that meant a multi-year contract staffing over sixty expert analysts to a national-level intelligence agency. He is not new to this firm either: he worked here as a counterintelligence analyst from 2017 to 2018, doing supply chain risk research for a defense customer, and returned in August 2025 to run the company.
